About us
Smart Nutrition has been in business since 1993 specializing in products that improve mental performance.

We were the first company in the US to sell Idebenone, Pyritinol, Picamilon, Aniracetam, Pyridoxamine, and Centrophenoxine. We were the second company in the US to sell Galantamine, Benfotiamine, and Vinpocetine. In 2004 we assisted NBC in their television news feature on idebenone. We have been mentioned in Dr. Julian Whitaker's Health & Healing newsletter and in Dr. David Williams' Alternatives newsletter.

Product Quality
60% of our line is from NOW Foods which was named “Manufacturer of the year” for 2003 for the enitire nutritional supplement industry. Products that are manufactured under the Smart Nutrition label like idebenone, galantamine, picamilon, piracetam, and pyritinol are sent to an independent laboratory for testing. We reject any product that tests under 99% purity.

How much is shipping?
$6 shipping to the US (free shipping on orders over $100)
$9 shipping to Canada
$15 shipping to the rest of the world

How can I order?
Orders may be placed on our website, by fax, by mail, and by telephone.
Internet orders are shipped first.  Telephone orders are processed last.

How can I pay?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, checks, cash.
Checks must be in US dollars.

How long will it take to receive my order?
Most USA orders are received within 3 days of being placed.
Orders sent outside the US are generally received within 5-7 days.

Can I receive my order overnight?
USA next day delivery charge is $35. For Friday orders the next business day is Monday.
Next day delivery is not available for orders shipped outside of the USA.

I didn’t receive an order confirmation.
The shopping cart software sends order confirmations the instant you click the “Order” button. Unfortunately, some ISPs treat order confirmations as spam and block them. Email us and we'll email you another confirmation.

Do you ship internationally?
We ship to every country except Germany, Italy, Russia, and South Africa.

How do we know your products are real?
This is an unusual question we occasionally get and we know from experience that the questioner never believes what we say which make us wonder why they ask us in the first place.
1) We have our products laboratory tested.
2) Pharmacies dispense some of our products.
3) MD’s and medical clinics dispense some of our products.
4) A significant number of MD’s use our products personally or refer their patients to us for hard-to-find products like piracetam and picamilon.

How can you claim that Get Smart^TM is the best brain formula on the market?
Brand XYZ has 38 ingredients, Get Smart only has 9 ingredients.
Which is better 38 pennies or 9 quarters?
OK, that's not a scientific answer but it make the point faster than reading 3 paragraphs of text.
Brand XYZ brain formula contains Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Vitamin B1, Vitamin B2, Vitamin B3, Vitamin B5, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, calcium, iron, iodine, etc. If someone wants a brain formula, they should buy a brain formula, not some multiple vitamin-mineral formula that calls itself a brain formula. 1mg of 30 different ingredients could be added to Get Smart^TM at very little cost but it wouldn’t improve the formula and that would be a deceptive practice.

Brand XYZ brain formula has such a small amount of the actual mental enhancing ingredients that they don’t even list the number of milligrams. They claim that it is a “proprietary” blend that they can’t divulge their “secret”. Sadly many people are deceived by this foolishness and believe this bogus “proprietary” claim. 99% of the nutritional products on the market list the ingredients and number of milligrams on the label. If a company is proud of what their product contains, they’ll list everything on the label. Be aware that some companies fool the consumer by multiplying the dosage on their product label by 4 realizing that many people will not see the small print that reads: Serving Size 4 tablets.

A good brain formula should contain effective dosages of brain-enhancing ingredients.
A good brain formula should not contain token dosages that are added to make the product give the false impression of being a comprehensive formula.
A brain formula should not be full of vitamins and minerals that you already get in your daily diet or from a multi-vitamin.
